			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Montgomery &amp; Co., a southern California-based investment bank, is currently looking for a Marketing Intern for the summer of 2012.  This position is for our Santa Monica, California headquarters.</p>
<p>The marketing intern will play a critical role in the firm’s marketing initiatives including assistance with the planning of its annual conference for over 1,000 high-level executives.  You will have the opportunity to work on all areas of marketing across multiple-platforms and responsibilities will include data collection, database maintenance, budget tracking, purchasing, website updates, campaign reports and other marketing projects.</p>
<p>Some duties to include but are not limited to are:</p>
<ul>
<li>Tracking of milestones progress against timeline</li>
<li>Data collection and fact checking for conference guide and case studies</li>
<li>Tracking of company and speaker communications</li>
<li>Researching attendee queries (bios, companies, etc.)</li>
<li>Support with all logistics for executing all meetings and events, including print and electronic campaigns, materials, speaker and attendee management</li>
<li>Provide various metrics and reports on investors and corporate contacts; assist in calling targeted venture and private investors</li>
<li>Assist with social media outlets to enhance marketing outreach with Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube</li>
<li>Update VC/PE and Buyer data/contacts  in Salesforce.com for Tech &amp; Media calling plan efforts</li>
</ul>
<p>Beyond the conference, this internship will allow you to participate in various marketing activities and duties within the firm including:</p>
<ul>
<li>Collection and archiving of press clippings</li>
<li>Research and tracking of competitive landscape</li>
<li>Website coordination and assisting with the integration and testing of firm-wide intranet</li>
</ul>
<p>Qualified candidates will possess the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>Junior status</li>
<li>Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint</li>
<li>Excellent written and interpersonal skills; articulate phone manner</li>

<p>SAN JOSE, Calif. – March 28, 2012 – Cisco today announced its intent to acquire privately held ClearAccess, a Vancouver, Wash. based company that provides TR-069-based software to service providers for the provisioning and management of residential and mobile devices. This acquisition includes ClearAccess&#8217; software business and talent. The hardware portion of ClearAccess&#8217; business, Smart RG Gateways, will continue forward as SmartRG, Inc. Cisco and ClearAccess&#8217; combined network management and software capabilities will enable service providers to better deliver, manage and monetize their services, while helping to improve operational efficiencies and customer experiences.</p>
<p>Service providers are faced with growing network complexity, exploding video and data traffic, and an increasing number of devices connected to their networks. With the proliferation of these devices, service providers are looking for ways to immediately lower operating expense while delivering and enabling new services. ClearAccess&#8217; management and software capabilities will augment Cisco Prime—Cisco&#8217;s network management software portfolio—by offering service providers a set of powerful tools  for managing the connected home, including  monitoring and managing bandwidth usage, parental controls, diagnostics and analytics.</p>
