Kevin Higgins
Chief Financial Officer

Kevin Higgins serves as Chief Financial Officer at Montgomery & Co. and is focused on managing the firm’s administrative and capital structure in order to fulfill the corporate strategy. Mr. Higgins provides leadership across the administrative, finance and accounting, human resource and information technology functions of Montgomery & Co. His role is to ensure the firm maintains optimal operational, organizational and strategic development. Mr. Higgins also serves as the firm’s financial operations principal and is a member of the management committee.

Mr. Higgins joined Montgomery & Co. in 2005. During the six years prior to this he held senior executive positions in three privately-held companies, most recently serving as chief financial officer of Ultra Pro L.P., a consumer packaged goods manufacturer based in Los Angeles. Before joining Ultra Pro, Mr. Higgins was employed by The Market Channel, a provider of an online marketing tool for the institutional investment community, and AlexBlake.com, a consumer ecommerce company. In all cases, Mr. Higgins provided leadership for and management of administration and operations, finance, human resources and information technology functions.

From 1995 through 1999 Mr. Higgins served as vice president, treasurer and director of financial planning and analysis for Paragon Trade Brands, Inc., a consumer packaged goods company. He was a member of the seven-person executive management team and Administrative Committee of this $550 million public company. Prior to Paragon, Mr. Higgins was employed at Chemical Securities Inc. and its predecessor companies for over 10 years. Most recently he was a managing director where he managed the commercial and investment banking industry practice involving aerospace and defense manufacturers and airlines.

Mr. Higgins holds a Bachelor of Science from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
