James Min
Managing Director and Head of Media Banking

James Min is a Managing Director and and heads the firm's Media practice at Montgomery & Co. Mr. Min is responsible for providing merger and acquisition advisory, corporate finance, and capital raising services to growth companies in the digital media and internet industries.

Mr. Min’s professional experience includes both investment banking and operating experience at a digital media company. Prior to joining Montgomery & Co. in March 2005, Mr. Min was a member of the Internet and digital media investment banking group at Thomas Weisel Partners in San Francisco. Before joining Thomas Weisel Partners, he was a director at Moviso LLC (later acquired by Infospace), a leading provider of mobile media, in Los Angeles. Previously, he worked in the investment banking groups at Bear, Stearns & Co. and CIBC Oppenheimer.

Mr. Min holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, where he was a Ewing Marion Kauffman intern, and he has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles.
